The Marion County Council on Aging is pleased to announce that 2024 application materials are now available for Council on Aging Community Enrichment Grants. The Board of Directors established this program to fund special projects and services that enhance and enrich the lives of older adults in Marion County.
Community Enrichment Grants are only available to agencies or organizations that provide services for persons aged 60 and over.
Recipients for 2023 included Ohio Heartland Community Action (unmet and emergency needs for seniors), Marion Public Library (various services including new bags for home delivery, and supplementing the large print and audio collection), Y-men Service Club (wheelchair ramps), Caledonia Farmer’s Market (senior vouchers), Marion County Recycling & Litter Prevention, and Marion Senior Center (co-sponsor and entertainment for Annual Senior Citizen’s Day).
Completed applications are due at the Council on Aging office no later than Thursday, September 28, 2023.
